Babara Dickson
We were delighted that Dunfermline born entertainer, Barbara Dickson agreed to become Patron of the Society. From the publicity gained from her first visit to the Sensory Impairment Centre we believe she will be a great support to our work with blind and partially sighted people in Fife. Barbara said of her first visit: "I am a person who doesn't have much time but being patron was something I just felt I would be able to help with as it is local to my roots. I was surprised to find services coming together and people being supported in keeping their independence." Barbara got to meet just a few of those who benefit from our services during her visit.
